  11. I have an internal US Robotics 14400 Sporster modem, running on a
  12. Compaq computer.

  14. I had to re-install Windows for Workgroups and now when trying to use
  15. Remote Access I get the message:

  17. Error Msg 692: Hardware Failure in Port or Attached Device.
  18.  
  19. Shouldn't be a hardware problem since this started happening just
  20. after I reinstalled the operating system. Before that it would work
  21. fine.
